Configure SOCKS5 Proxy for Anon
Follow this example to set up a SOCKS5 Proxy on your local relay to allow LAN traffic to pass through the Anon network. This feature is still under development.
Configure your devices to point to the proxy settings with the Relay IP and SocksPort. Remember to change the IP Subnet to match the subnet you are using on your Local Area Network (LAN).
Disclaimer:
This configuration should be considered experimental. Stability and security can not be guaranteed.
Edit the Anon configuration
Use 'nano' to edit the anonrc file in Ubuntu.
Add SocksPort and SocksPolicy to the Anon Configuration
This configuration will allow all clients on the subnet 192.168.1.0/24
to connect through the proxy. Please note that the LAN IP of the Relay is assumed to be 192.168.1.10
. However, the LAN IP of the Relay and subnet may vary for different networks and routers.
